Fresh from a harrowing plane crash that left him badly burned and four people dead, DJ AM has recovered and is once again back in the game.

In his first public performance since that accident, the superstar DJ agreed to accompany hip-hop mogul Jay-Z when the latter’s tour wraps up at the Hollywood Palladium.

Since suffering severe burns to his head and arm following the September 19 accident, the DJ’s public appearances have been kept to a minimum. But not for long – since the turntable expert is once again in high demand.

Up next for the DJ, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, is a fundraising luncheon at the Beverly Hilton to honor Candy Spelling for her good deeds to the immigrant-aid nonprofit organization Friendly House.
