"I am saddened and disappointed that my label chose to put out another hits album instead of new music," the country singer said in a statement obtained by People Magazine, "I've only had one studio album since my last hits package. It has to be just as confusing to the fans as it is to me."
In fact, the 41-year-old country superstar has some new songs under his belt. But his record label, Curb Records, decided to rehash his old offerings instead.
"I had no involvement in the creation or presentation of this record,” McGraw says, washing his hands off his greatest hits album.
