After Michael Lohan made some unbecoming comments over his daughter’s relationship with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, Lindsay fired back by being a no-show at her own grandfather’s funeral.

 

Despite chitchats saying that the rift between the father and daughter is now deeper than ever, Michael Lohan maintains that there is hope for reconciliation. In an exclusive statement he revealed to OK! Magazine, the celebrity dad says,

 

"To date, I have not said anything about Lindsay not being at my dad's wake or funeral. But I will say this: Lindsay is my daughter. I love her... I forgive her (as I hope she and Dina's family forgive me). And nothing will ever stop me from doing so.”
