Natalie Portman Awarded for Good Deed
While many of the other girls her age are fussing over clothes and boys, Natalie Portman decided to do her share of good deeds for the world.

The Star Wars actress was awarded at the Venice International Film Festival last Sunday with the first-ever "Movie for Humanity Award" for her contributions to the environment and society, E! News reports.

The Oscar-nominated actress takes her good-doing a bit further by donating her $50,000 prize money to the the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania, where she supports the Tacare Girl's Scholarship Program.

"The Jane Goodall foundation does incredible work in Tanzania, an area which is very environmentally affected. I really appreciate this award," the 27-year-old beauty gratefully said.
