Michelle William’s best was not good enough – for Wendy and Lucy that is.

William’s latest film, Wendy and Lucy, tells the story of a broke and down-on-her-luck young woman traveling through rural America in search for work. Living in her beat-up car while driving from Indiana to Alaska, Wendy has only a mutt named Lucy for company. After a botched attempt at shoplifting, the not-so-brilliant Wendy had to spend the day dealing with the local police while her beloved Lucy goes missing.

Then the rest of the movie revolves around the scatterbrained woman’s attempt to find her lost dog.  

Yawn.
