She began the show by taking a walk from her dressing room onto the stage then announced the opening of the awards.

What was most notable was that she won THREE awards: Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, and Video of the Year for Piece of Me.

Spears, who looked impressive in a glittering silver dress could only manage to say, “Wow, thank you, I’m in shock right now. I was not expecting this,” as she accepted her third trophy of the evening.

Not bad for a comebacking pop star who slaved away to get her trim figure back and is trying to set her life on the right path under her dad’s guidance.

Even though many thought others were more deserving of the Moonmen, people felt kinder towards the star who’s slowly getting her life back.
