The British supermodel’s hair extension that reportedly got lost in Berlin was auctioned on eBay for 805 euros, or $1,264, Bild newspaper reports.

The 34-year-old Moss, who was in Berlin to promote her new fragrance Velvet Hour, dropped the hairpiece while she tried to avoid paparazzi as she went back to the posh Hotel Adlon after partying in the German capital last month.

Reports say that while she was looking hot and sexy with her flowing locks, one of her hair extensions popped out. Then suddenly some pap dude snatched it up and put it up on eBay.

Bild said the photographer will donate the profits to an anti-drugs charity in Germany.

Now there’s some good use for something that’s totally useless.
