Guess who’s going to be permanently booted out of the famous TV show American Idol?

It seems that all three judges – Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres – are OUT. Simon Cowell is set to leave the American Idol to work on the American version of the British show X Factor.

And guess who are in? Various Hollywood news sources say that the latest celebrities to reportedly get involved with AI are Jessica Simpson, Elton John and Justin Timberlake are taking over. No less.

These are all Hollywood rumors for now, but reports claim that the show is hitting reboot after a spectacular FAILure in the past season.

Latest celebrity gossip sources say Simpson supposedly met with producers, but nothing came out of the meeting. John and Timberlake were reportedly also approached to be the next Simon Cowell, but nothing was established.

Before anyone starts ranting about how dumber the show would get with Jessica Simpson in or asking why producers can’t just pull the plug on the show, let’s all stop and think: Maybe this is how they’re drumming up interest to a public that didn’t get exactly hit with a Lee DeWyze mania. Mind games, anyone?

Singer Wyclef Jean has reportedly expressed interest in running for the top office in Haiti.

Rumors began circulating after the ex-Fugee was picked in 2007 to become Haiti’s ambassador-at-large by President Rene Preval, who will be unable to run for president in the country’s election this year.

The 37-year-old Two Wrongs artist has been actively raising money through the Wyclef Jean Yele Haiti Foundation.

Wyclef Jean, Fugees ex-member, was born in the outskirts of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, but grew up in Brooklyn, New York City. While he did not rule out political plans, he said in a recent interview with The Associated Press that he intends to be involved in the Nov. 28 polls.

“Do I have political intentions? At this time no. But what I do have is a movement — it’s called Face a Face, ‘Face to Face’,” Jean said. “The youth population … we are going to encourage them to vote.”

Reports say that the singer, who voted for Preval in 2006, will have a tough time as a candidate as elections in Haiti are “contentious and often violent.”

He would also have to prove that he has lived in Haiti for five consecutive years, owns a property in the country, and has never been a citizen of any country other than Haiti.

Some people see Wyclef perfect for the position, but many are questioning Jean’s abilities as a politician and are wondering if he is indeed qualified to run for the post.

Qualified shouldn’t even be raised. Since when did that matter?

CSI producers think having Justin Bieber on the famous TV show “will be a true event television” and are looking to cast him in a recurring role.

Justin Bieber and his acting debut in the CBS drama will be viewed in September.

The 16 year-old Canadian pop-R&B singer will be playing the part of a troubled teenager who meets the main characters of the famous tv drama after experiencing issues with his brother.

Producers of the show are obviously excited about Bieber’s presence in the famous tv series:

“Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world.  We’d like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture.  The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers.

This will be true event television.  We’re looking forward to Justin’s dramatic star turn, not only in the premiere, but in a continuing seasonal arc.”

The Favorite Girl artist will be seen in at least two episodes of the 2010/2011 season of CSI.

An old interview with a late gay porn star stunned Hollywood with claims that Superman actor Christopher Reeve had a two-month sexual affair with him.

This juicy stuff claimed that the chat with Cal Culver, which occurred 23 years ago before he died due to an AIDS-related disease, is detailed in the book titled “Hollywood Babylon Strikes Again.”

Culver related that he and Reeve met in an audition for a Broadway role in the 70s. The porn star told the unnamed interviewer, “Christopher was a great lover and I think I liberated him sexually. I didn’t think he was gay but he seemed willing to try anything once. He was curious.”

In the interview, acquired by the Globe, Culver referred to the Superman star as “the man of my dreams.” Their relationship ended when Reeve found out Culver was a porn star, who acted under the name Casey Donovan.

Christiopher Reeve death The Superman actor died of heart failure in 2004, nearly ten years after the Reeve accident, in which he was paralyzed following a horse fall.

Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to surrender to authorities today to begin her 90-day jail sentence.

Latest celebrity gossip source TMZ, which features a live stream on its website, positions itself in the Beverly Hills courthouse premises to film the booking. Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, is said to accompany the actress to represent her after ex-defender Robert Shapiro called it quits.

TMZ says that after her surrender, Lohan will be transferred to the Lynwood Correctional Facility after she is taken to a holding cell at the courthouse. Previous reports state Lohan will serve only 23 days.

Fans looking for Lindsay rumors may want to know how their idol spent her last night of freedom: Twittering. Of course.

Lohan, who posed for German GQ and Complex Mag (photo), says of her booking in connection with a probation violation in a DUI case:

“The only ‘bookings’ that i’m familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i’d be ‘booking’ into Jail… eeeks.”

Vile language is nothing new to Mel Gibson, but with the recent spate of leakages of telephone tirades against ex Oksana Grigorieva, you begin to think if Mel’s lost it. Or if that’s how Oksana is painting him out to be, who knows. Just saying.

Shocking tapes reveal a breathless Gibson railing against Oksana, “B!tch c*%t wh*re gold digger!” And that’s between the countless F-bombs.

These words may not be totally surprising but what came next was a revelation that the Braveheart actor pinned the blame on his daughter’s mother for his financial woes.

The tapes, which Gibson’s lawyers claim were tampered with (not surprisingly), led many to think that the actor is off mentally — and financially.

The series of leaked tapes have put one of Hollywood’s greatest actors in a shameful, disturbing light. All these have been brought on following Oksana’s claims that she is a victim of domestic violence courtesy of Gibson. Police have launched investigations.
